At Tangara School, special religous education (SRE) is delivered on Thursday afternoons from 2pm -2.30pm for K-12 students.
On enrolment parents/carers will be given the SRE participation letter as part of our enrolment pack, to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE should be given to the school office in writing.
The following SRE classes are offered at Tangara SSP: Anglican SRE is provided by Moss Vale Anglican Church.
SRE classes consider our SSP context and have a focus on short religious stories and song.
During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a seperate space and will participate in meaningful activities such as extended literacy time, inclusive of group readings of high quality hard copy and digital texts.
