Students from local schools are invited to partake in environment focused activities at Lake Alexandra. Activites will include; worm farming, creating native habitats and interaction with native flora and fauna.
DreamCricket was initiated by Dr Roly Bigg of the Movement Disorder Foundation in concert with the Rotary Clubs of the Southern Highlands and the Bradman Foundation. The aim was to provide primary school students with special needs an opportunity to play cricket activities on Bradman Oval. The DreamCricket program has grown to encompass schools and children throughout Australia and internationally. Students will need to be dressed in school uniform and wear a hat and sunscreen. Please also pack food and drink for the day.
The Department of Education and Training school swimming and water safety program is an intensive learn to swim program, which develops water confidence and provides students with basic skills in water safety. Each student is required to bring a swimming costume, towel, hat and warm clothing.
