About our school

Tangara School is in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales in Mittagong.

We are situated 5 minutes from the center of town and our students come from as far north as Picton, south to Wingello and east to Robertson.

As a school for students with intellectual disabilities, we provide a flexible learning environment in a picturesque setting. Our staff are experienced, passionate educators who are committed to delivering high quality, engaging learning experiences. 

Tangara School has seven classes, with students ranging in age from 4 to 18 years, with each class having one teacher and one learning support officer to facilitate quality learning.
